Course Details

We began 2025 with a return to the basic principles of Tai Chi, and the opening sequence of the Short Form. In this course, we will continue with this beautiful sequence, and explore Tai Chi further, along with its underlying energy work. This Course offers the invitation to deepen into Qigong and Tai Chi practice. We will be supported by quotes and wisdom from Daoist philosophy. This weekly class will work on the Tai Chi Short Form, as well as deepening the Qigong somatic experience in each movement. Each week we will explore and add on new postures, thereby developing and expanding our movements into the longer Tai Chi sequence. The class will feature partner work, and learning the energetic and martial applications of movements. It is designed to bring forward Qigong and embodiment principles and incorporate these experientially into our movements. Venue: Glounthaune Community Centre, Glounthaune, Cork.
