Course Details

A 6-week course commencing Thursday 16th January 2025. The Hunyuan Primordial Qigong Form is a beautifully gentle sequence of 12 circular movements, designed to nourish the 3 main energy reservoirs/Dantian and explore the themes of origin, centre, form and formlessness. The slow meditative movements are perfectly suited for a more restful winter practice, and to cultivate inner wisdom. For this series, we will take time to explore some ancient Daoist texts and how the principles of ancient Chinese cosmology and Daoist philosophy are reflected and embodied through this Qigong form. With Qigong, we especially welcome the benefits to the Nervous System, the Body, Mind, Heart and Spirit. Wellbeing is felt as a sense of being grounded and centered, with a more embodied experience of the movements. These slow flowing practices can remind us of the reasons why they are often called Meditation in Movement. Through regular practice, this mindful, more embodied way of being becomes more effortless, habitual, and comfortable.  Suitable for all. Venue: Glounthaune Community Centre, Glounthaune, Cork. T45 K124 Dates: Thursdays, beginning 16th January 2025. Time: 10am Cost: €85 for the 6 week Course. Dana/Donation welcome if experiencing any financial difficulty.
